Free In-Person Financial Aid Workshops for High School Counselors through MASFAP

High school counselors and college access professionals are invited to join us this fall for a free, in-person High School Counselor Workshop at one of 12 locations across Missouri. Hosted by the Missouri Association for Student Financial Aid Personnel (MASFAP) Early Awareness Committee, the Missouri College and Career Attainment Network (MOCAN), and Missouri Scholarship & Loan Foundation (MSLF), this year's workshops have been revamped with new content and timely updates designed to help you better support students and families navigating the financial aid process.

With significant changes in financial aid and college affordability conversations, we've refreshed the agenda to focus on the topics counselors are facing right now, while still providing opportunities to connect and collaborate with peers from across the state.

Topics include:

• FAFSA Updates and Completion Strategies
• Navigating Tricky FAFSA Scenarios
• Federal and State Financial Aid Updates
• Talking with Students and Families About College Affordability
• Local Scholarship Opportunities
• Networking and Discussion with Fellow Counselors and Advisors

Breakfast or a boxed lunch will be provided.
