Applying for federal financial aid is FREE

Many high schools, colleges, and community organizations in Missouri offer FAFSA Frenzy events to provide free one-on-one assistance to help students and their families complete the FAFSA.

Attend a FAFSA Frenzy event for free, one-on-one assistance with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. By attending, you can also apply for a $500 Journey to College Book Scholarship. The FAFSA is the primary form used by federal, state and college financial aid programs to determine students’ eligibility for grants, scholarships, work-study and loans. A number of high schools, colleges, and community organizations host FAFSA Frenzy events from October through January at locations throughout Missouri.

FAFSA Frenzy is part of national efforts to promote FAFSA completion and has been offered in Missouri since 2004 through partnerships between the Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development, the Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel, the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority, and the National College Attainment Network.
