We are excited to announce that throughout the 2015 year the MASFAP Professional Development committee will be offering six, one-day drive-in training opportunities for members to get credentialed in a variety of CORE financial aid topics. Participants will learn from MASFAP experts using NASFAA CORE training materials. Upon completion of the training participants will be eligible to apply for NASFAA credentialing. Topics are listed below, some dates have been set and others are yet to be determined.

Credentialing #1: Verification and Packaging – April 1st REGISTATION NOW OPEN!

Credentialing #2: Federal Methodology and Professional Judgement – May 28th

Credentialing #3: Direct Loans

Credentialing #4: Campus Based Programs and Pell

Credentialing #5: R2T4 and Satisfactory Academic Progress

Credentialing #6: Administrative Capability and Consumer Information

MASFAP members can access NASFAA CORE training materials on our website at www.masfap.org , click on training. 2015-16 CORE materials will be available after May 1st.

The NASFAA credentialing drive-in days are an excellent opportunity to provide training to any new staff you may have, expand your existing knowledge and skills, get your questions answered or maybe you just need a refresher! We also have a variety of other professional development events on the horizon. Stay tuned for more!
