Registration for DE focused training for Registrars and Business Officers

We are pleased to announce registration is now available for U.S. Department of Education focused training for Registrars and Business Officers. U.S Department of Education trainer Zack Goodwin will be joining us on February 25th and 26th to discuss important topics on which we work with our colleagues in both the Registrar and Business Offices on a regular basis. Topics include 150% Subsidized Usage Loan limitations, Enrollment Reporting, Special Programs, R2T4, Withdraws, Academic Calendars, Certificate Programs, Modules, Satisfactory Academic Progress, Cash Management, Title IV Credit Balances, Prior Year Charges, Early and Late Disbursements, Title IV Rules and Regulations miscellanea. Registration is free for all MASFAP members and lunch will be provided.

Register online at www.masfap.org. Please forward this information to your Business and Registrar offices. Business Officers and Registrars will need to contact their financial aid administrator in order to add them to their institution’s membership prior to registering.

In order to add an individual to your institutional membership:

Step 1: Determine who needs to be added to your institution’s members. You can see if your colleagues in the Business Office or Registrar’s Office are already in the membership database by navigating to Member Services and then Search the Membership Directory. If you find the individual attempting to register, they will need to log in with their username and password. If they have forgotten this by navigating through Member Services to Retrieve Forgotten Password. If you do not find the person who is attempting to register, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Your institution’s Primary Contact should navigate to Membership Services, Administrative Services, Primary Contacts, Add/Delete Member from your Institution. You will be prompted to login and then select Add an Individual. When you search for your new member’s name you’ll be prompted to add a new person.

Step 3: Your new member should receive an email listing a username and password, or location to establish a password. They should be able to edit their membership information when they complete the session registration process.
