The objective of the Early Awareness Committee is parent and student outreach. Unfortunately, most families are not given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the wealth of information associated with financial planning, financial assistance and college academic expectations until late in the college planning process. Exposing parents and students to this information sooner, rather than later, is a strategic goal of the Early Awareness Committee.
